Visitor Submitted: Firefox streaming video plugin
Submitted By: Lew Shugar (lewisShugar [at] comcast.net)I'm using Mozilla Firefox as my browser, but I can't watch news videos, can you tell me how to set it up or tell me what plug-ins I need to install?
Hello,
you can find instructions and download locations for Real One and Windows Media Player plugins at the Plugindoc site.
I much prefer to use the old Real Player 8 over Real One. (Real One seems to take over a lot of the computer and take up too much space and memory.) The installation instructions and download locations for this can be found in the MozTips Wiki.

. Add your own at the bottom of the page.
Thanks for notice on the security holes in the old Real Player 8 series.
I will try a recent version of Real One and see if it is okay.

Realplayer 8 doesn't have important security fixes so you shouldn't use it in place of RealOne. I understand why people would like the older builds but really the newest ones aren't that bad. It doesn't make much sense to run a Secure browser like Firefox and then run an older piece of software that has known exploits.
